no nobody makes stocks other than reproduction military stocks and with the long lever it would be hard to work with a pistol grip

if you change the lever you need to change the extractor as well I think everything else is good to go im guessing you are sporterizing theres plenty of martini sporters around only time I would do it if the barrel is too pitted to be used
there are oodles of choices on how you want to sporterize .the levers are easy to bend to follow the contour of the new stock shape using heat .Heres a pic of one we did using a Boyds carved un inletted T/H laminated blank fitted to a mk3 martini of mine in 303 brit ,new barrel and modified the extractor to work with it and lever bent to follow pistol grip .

if it will make the turn into the breech you should be ok with it martini are probably one of the strongest military action in the world

Hi mooncoon i was thinking along the line of the no.2 musket or the no.1 Express.
I have the No.2 cartridge and it drops right in. the No.1 is a 1/4" longer but should be fine

Hi antiqueguy that is one of the things i like about the MH westely Richards made his martini rifles in some pretty long rounds. But then the action might of been modified to fit

these are from Don Robinsons pattern .Bevan had one and we copied a few more for my use ,the top one is the one we copied it off and I got to keep it after he passed away.
I was told ,but can't remember the fellows name in Sask that bought Dons patterns and tracer when he retired ,may be some one knows who he is and can supply you with the contact info ?

the Westley Richards martini is a whole different creature ,only seen one and it was a 577/450 express and had the metal shields on both sides of the stock and well used at the Calgary gun show years ago.Also the lever was attached in front of the trigger guard like the gahendra from the Nepal cache

yes before I found a p14 for my varmint rifle build I was thinking about a martini action since its a .303 wildcat im using pretty easy to build. you can also build a martini in a rimless cartridge by making a special extractor

the gahendra was a Westley Richards design the Nepalese copied it with some modifications. they also copied the francotte
