Supposedly in unfired condition. It is 7.5 mm. Question is twofold...how desireable is it and what should the price be? I believe I have the model number correct...it is something like that number. I see from another post that brass can be formed from 6.5X55 or .308 Win. Thanks.....Dave

personally i would rather have the 36 than the 36/51... the 36/51 has the grenade launcher attached. price should probably be around $300 in condition you describe.

proper brass can be ordered. there is also some prvi partizan stuff that has been floating around for years. i have two boxes of it that came with some 7x57 that i bought as the packaging is the same.

Got a look at it today and while it looks unfired it does not have matching numbers. Bolt and receiver match but stock and mag floorplate are different numbers. Should it have matching numbers or did they not worry about that?

Seen 'em for around 200 bucks, and wouldn't go higher than 300. That 36/51 sure looks cool with the 'nade launcher!

The bayonets are also very cool on these rifles. If only they had a .303 or 7.62 conversion for them...last thing I want is another (especially an oddball) calibre to deal with...

A bunch of minty .308 convertions were on the market a few years ago. I still see them surface at gun shows.

I re-formed brass from 6.5 X 55 (necked up and fire formed). It works fine although there is new brass available for them now.
