Master of Arms Enyo

That is about the most hideous AR I have ever seen.

No doubt. If it wasn't for the way the end of buttstock where its supposed to contact your shoulder looked, or that stupid hand guard being the same length as the barrel it would be decent enough... But dear lord those two features in particular are gag worthy.

From the article it sounds like the barrel is affixed to the front of the handguard with the barrel being under tension. It sort of reminds me of the claims about the old DanWesson revolvers that their tensioned barrels contributed to greater accuracy.

Not a fan of that style fer sure. Uuugh. Ye won't be seeing those in military use anytime soon, but the evolving technology will definitely be adapted by manufacturers.

Reminds me of the old XC 220 from the 80's. I reckon the 220 be a better lookin' fun gun. Lots cheaper to shoot as well. ;)

What's the benefit of a "tensioned barrel"? Isn't it basically the polar opposite of a free floated barrel?

I would think the idea is that really thin barrels tend to warp and throw flyers or shift POI as they heat up, and the tensioned barrel is supposed to help mitigate that.
