Hey guys, picked one of these up for my Rem 700... Any advice on installing? It comes with a single crush washer. I picked up red loctite for it. From my understanding I am supposed to put the crush washer on with the tapered end toward the firearm, then tighten until the vertical ports are on the top, and level. Doing so will"crush" the washer, is this correct?

Yes, it's as simple as that, but you do need to secure the barrel properly when crushing the washer as this can take a bit of force.
For 1/2" washers you could get away with putting the action in a padded vice, they are fairly easy to crush.
For 5/8 washers a proper barrel vice is best as some of these don't like to crush very easy.
Other options are Precision Arms shims, come in various thickness to time properly, no special tools needed but loctite.
