Match Chamber in Savage Mk II's w/ Bull Barrel?

Some models of the Savage Mark II rimfire rifle (F, BV, FVT) have heavy target barrel's - does anyone know if these barrels have a 'match' chamber and/or if they'll chamber CCI Stingers? (I checked the savage manual and called a few suppliers - no answer available)

Works on mine.

Oddly enought the Remington Yellow jackets usually fail to extract, but stingers and quik-shoks work fine

Thanks Prosper - that's what I needed to know. Odd about the yellow jackets - but as long as *one* of the two works I'm good. I've never found the quik-shoks here in Ontario but everyone's got the Stingers.

I think it would have been stamped on the barrel if it was a match chamber.............or at least it is on my Remington.

I have closely handled a few heavy barrel model and shot a LY several time but seem to be don't have a word "MATCH" on the barrel. But they shoot really well. I personal won't care about stinger becasue most of the newly .22 rifle will chamber them. Go and get one and you won't feel disapointed.
