Matching No4 with hollow bolt handle?

I keep seeing No4 with hollowed out bolt handles advertised as matching, are they No5 bolts or did they also come originally on No4 as well?

No 4's came with round, hollowed or round with a flat side, depending on maker.

British No.4 MKI will often have hollowed bolt handles.

Long Branch No 4 Mk I rifles had hollow bolt handles, as well as bolts for the No 5 Mk I (Jungle Carbine) which work perfectly well in a No 4.

Right now, I am looking at a 1942 Long Branch (17L series) and a Savage (90C series) bolt for No.1 Mk.1* rifles. Both of them have solid bolt knobs with no hole in them.

Hollow bolt handles

Believe LB phased out the hollow handle sometime in 1942. BSA No.4's handles were hollow. Dont recall what Faz and Maltby used.

I have a No 4 Mk1 BSA witha hollow handle and the numbers all match.
