Hi, I bought a used
RCBS 5-0-5 scale. I was assembling it and noticed a rattle in the scale tray.
This is the tray which hangs from the beam on the scale. I removed the screw and took the top portion of the tray off. Inside are gray/black balls that about 3/32 in diameter and smaller. My question is: Are these supposed to be there or are they some sort of ball powder some previous owner was using which somehow got into the tray?
