I picked up a Mauser 99.
I'm impressed with the action and quality of this rifle.
To my understanding Mauser bought the German company voere. I believe the voere titan to be a close cousin to the Mauser 99.
The rifle came with scope bases but without rings.
Any idea of ring availability?

Any Leopold or similar twist in / rear windage rings or similar by another maker will work in those bases.
1 inch / 30 mm / 26 mm what ever works in a height for your scope.

I had a Mauser 99 in a 270. Beautiful rifles, great triggers, quick lock time, heavy and accurate. Bases are the hard part. Leupold standard rings should twist in the front and squeeze in the rear. Nice find!!

Voere sold the rights to Mauser to finance their caseless rifle project. So, yes, the M99 a.k.a Mauser 225 Titan II is the Titan II.
