Mauser feed rails repair

Hi:I have a MK X mauser .458WM and the second round out of the magazine pops out if i start with 3 in the mag. If i just put 2 rounds in no problem it will feed empty brass. I can live with this but was wondering if the follower ,spring or the rails inthe receiver are at fault. Any ideas? Dan

I would try a different follower and then follower spring before I started filing. - dan

The rails, the left one in particular, are the problem. The follower affects only the last round. Have it fixed by one who knows what is required. Regards, Bill.

Thank's guys. And Dan i was not going to try any filing honest. I will leave stuff like that to a reccomended gunsmith. Dan
