hi guys can any one tell me what this is and what it might be worth ? its in rough shape . it says FABRICA DEARMS OVIEDO 1913 serial # is G2557 if you need any more pics or info let me know ! thanks in advance guys

Bubba'd Spanish Mauser. If it's as rough as you suggest, she's not worth a lot of money. She isn't a rifle you want to hot-rod, so you have limited rebarreling/reboring/rechambering options.

If the bore's any good, she's a truck gun extraordinaire.

Sporterized Spanish Mauser Model 1893. Made in 1913.

Could be in 7x57 or 8x57 Mauser.

Not worth much in dollar terms. But priceless behind the seat of your truck!!

*Edit, Damn.. Dan beat me to the punch! But apparently we think alike on the Truck issue!!

Thanks for the info guys ! i think its a 7x57 the 30cal brush is tight going through . The bore actually looks ok just some pitting at the muzzle . thanks again !
