Mauser K98 Safety issues

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket safety that won't interfere with the scope. I currently have to use a extremely high mount on my K98 .308win hunting rifle. The stock is a custom hunting stock with a high cheek piece but still too low for the extra high mounts I have. I'd like to have a medium height scope mount but the wing safety will hit the scope if lowered. Any help would be appreciated as I'd rather not ruin the original safety.

Timney makes a Beuhler style wing safety that requires no permanent mods.
Other then that, Tradex has M70 type bolt shroud safeties.
