I recently brought home a very nice Erfurt 1916 with all matching numbers including screws, sights, and stock. Looks untouched since WW1 and I think that is the last time the barrel was cleaned. Unfortunately while there is lots of rifling there is also a ton of pitting. Still looking forward to trying her at the range. Enjoy the pics:

Sweet old rifle! Won't hurt to dust a few rounds through it. Sounds like you already know what you have and won't "restore" it or "refinish" it.

Range is closed but did take her out to the woods today and put 10 rounds of vintage Dominion ammunition I had laying around through it. Functions well, shoots great, and I managed to kill an old tree stump. Very handy rifle in the short configuration but does have a good bark to it.
