I bought an M48A off of Corwin a few months back, disassembled it, and decided to wait until it was warmer out to clean it up. Last week I put it together and from my parts tray, I was left with this silver ring. I haven't taken it back apart yet but I was wondering if someone knew where it went, because from watching youtube assembly videos, I couldn't find anything. Not sure where it goes. Thanks in advance!

This second picture is unrelated, but I've had it for a while and I've never used it, not sure exactly what it's for. Again thanks, and i'm going to label things so I know when I buy a new toy.

Second picture is for adjusting your trigger pull on some rifles.

Took my m48 apart didn't have a ring like that on it.

Maybe it somehow got into my parts bin, but I really didn't think it did, so it's just odd. Martin at Corwin Arms wasn't sure so.
Any idea what rifle for adjusting trigger pull? For bolt actions I have a stevens 200, cz527, and the rest are older, unless it's for a .22, then I have a Savage Mk2. Hmm
