I thought the Serb Mausers were M1899s, not M1895s. I'm slicing the meat real thin with that distinction considering the 99 was a variant of the 95 but there is a difference.
At any rate, if it is a Serbian Mauser it should have the cartouche of the Serbian monarch (Alexander I or Peter I) on it. And if you do have a Serbian Mauser you have a prospective customer right here.
EDIT: And obviously it would have Cyrillic writing

I think it is a Boer issued Mauser, the rifle serial number and bolt serial number while different seem to bear that out.
With that I’d still be interested in find out the value

There were a bunch of Chilean 95 Mausers that were brought into the country in the last few years, they were going for ~ 400$, and were in good condition at best. If yours has a good bore, then you might get 5 - 600$ ....
