Not sure if this is the right forum so move it if it isn't please.

Heres the skinny, my bud had issues with his Turkish mauser model m98 not shooting straight for him. I bought it for a deal and though I could use it for backup/bush gun if something was wrong with it. I stripped the gun and bolt, cleaned and checked everything, reassembled her and took it to the range. It is a decent shooter and with open sight was god at 100 yards so I decided to spend some time and money on her. It has a bent boly swapped into it, ATI synthetic stock, and a little work on the trigger. The pull is stil long but it is lighter and a nicer feel now. I am assembled with the stock, bolt swap, and had a scope on it but the scope just touched the upper rail on the stock and the scope could not be set properly so I popped it off and will have to get a diff mounting rings or probably a different scope with a smaller front glass. I am now looking to paint her up and am looking for schemes and/or suggestions/opinions. The upper stock actually clamps to the barrell so it stays put for a sturdy scope mont.

I have kind of lost my original idea at this point and am looking at getting some input for finishing her up. I am online for a while today to snoop around to respark my interest and finish her before my m14 shows up.
