Mauser MS420

I have a Mauser Model MS420 with a scope. AI tells me it is a Weaver 344. It has a tapered post reticle and click adjustments for elevation and windage. Is there a zero stop on the adjustments or a limiter of any sort that I have to be careful with?

Pretty sure those turrets are just a threaded screw that presses on the erector -- if you screw them all the way in they should stop (at the end of their thread!), and if you turn CCW enough they will probably thread right out.
