Mauser Red 9

I'm looking at a 9mm Broomhandle Mauser that is on an auction site for an auction later this month. The gun is listed as "all matching numbers including the stock". It has the shoulder stock but not the leather goods. I think the stock looks too new and might be one of the Chinese knock off's but who knows.

I've always been attracted to these guns.

Any ideas on fair value for these guns in today's market? I know the 9's are less common/more desirable.

I am torn between trying to find one of these or an artillery Luger this year (I don't think the budget will stretch to both)

Wow! that sounds like a deal from what i've seen recently. Was it a .30 or a 9?

I see one just listed on the EE for $5500....I wish I'd gotten into this hobby a few years earlier!

A 9, but it's a prohibited due to barrel length, as it's a Bolo model. - dan

The Red9 is a 9mm, not 30. It's called a Red9 as the grip has the number 9 carved into it and painted red!!!
