My wife had ordered a pair from Amazon and I ordered a pair of Minox from a sponsor here both in 10x42
Both have excellent sharpness and clarity. The colour is very bright and vivid and close focus distance with each is amazing to say the least.
Being an eyeglass wearer, I did have a slight comfort issue with the Minox as the eye relief is not quite right for lack if a better term and this is only my predicament,(yours may vary)
I was currently using a pair of Leupold cascades 8x42 and then jumping into a 10x and what some call "way better " glass would be a huge improvement....was better but not leaps and bound better.
The old Cascades were not as bad off as I thought they were.
I did some glassing in town from my backyard and out in the field. Everything being equal, I have to give the edge to the MavensC1..I found the field of view to be a bit smaller and I mean just a bit,but found the colours were a bit more vivid and again I mean slightly, not leaps and bounds. I did find the eye relief better as well.
Both Binoculars seem very nice for sure and I am confident that either one will work for most...If I were in the market for another pair,I would definately consider the Mavens again for sure
