Hi, I am new here, been lurking for a bit as I waited for my pal.
When disassembling my maverick 88 for the first time I somehow managed to get the bolt slide, the bolt and the extractor jammed up (at least that’s what it seems like). I followed the instructions in the manual but I must have done something wrong. The fore grip and action bars are loose now too, so won’t catch the bolt slide to pull it forward. The bolt and bolt slide will not move at all, I have pulled real hard and nothing.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any suggestions on what to try to get it all out? Would any other info be helpful?
Thanks!

Install the lifter into the receiver. Install the action slide tube assembly and slide it into the receiver partially so that the notch on the arms line up with the flared part of the trigger assembly area that's just past the loading port. Slide the bolt assembly in between the arms towards the notches and then the bolt slide block sits on top of the bolt and the notches on the slide block aligns with the tabs on the action slide tube arms. Install the two loose arms (cartridge stop and cartridge interrupter) into the dedicated grooves on either side of the receiver and aligned with the pins/holes on the arms, hooks pointing inwards. Install in the trigger assembly. Pull the action all the way back. Install the barrel and secure it with the mag tube end cap nut. Work the slide and function test the firearm.

See if this vid helps:

Hey thanks so much for the reply, the problem though is I cannot slide the bolt at all, it is completely stuck.
At 3:40 of the video is where I have gone wrong as my bolt is further back than that, part of it is jammed back past the openings for it to come out. And the lifter is in there with it not moving either.
Bad idea to try and smash that out I am assuming?

Look inside what is stopping it from going foward. Since the slide is not in something is probably sticking out slightly.

Don't smash anything just figure out what is wrong. Keep us posted.

Sounds like you may have accidentally wedged the bolt. Probably just need a little bit of coaxing with some light force to get 'er out.

Got it free. Took it to the lgs and they helped me out. Back together now and functioning properly.
Thanks for the suggestions
