Maverick 88 magazine tube bolt stuck - help

Hey guys. I Have a gg&g mount on my maverick 88. Installed by po. I can’t get the bolt to unscrew for the life of me. Are there any tricks to this?

Soak the ever living heck out of the bolt in Kroil for a day, then best of luck.

Vice grips.

And make sure the pump is racked back (chamber fully open) when you're trying to unscrew it.

And make sure to rap ether the jaws of the vise grips or mag screw with tape , so as not to mangle it too much .lol

Yeah. But that part is all solid steel. There's really not much to damage.

I smoked it with pb blaster. Let’s see how it responds after an hour.

This is true , but its nice not to marr the finish any more then one has to , keeps the resale value up .lol

He's not grabbing the tube with vise-grips.

On the Maverick-88; The barrel is held on with a 7/16" bolt with a knurled head.

I actually replaced mine with a hex head bolt.
