Maverick 88 security

My roommate got a Mav 88 security, but did not get a manual with it. We are trying to figure out how to get the magazine limiter plug out of it. Anyone know how to get the magazine off this this thing?

We looked on line for a manual but couldn't find one.

The plug is just a wooden dowel , if you unscrew the mag end cap and pop the barrel out you can just reach in and pull the dowel out, it has two rubber O rings on it but they shouldnt interfere with it.

Ok thanks I got the plug out. One more question though. I want to buy a mossberg 535 ATS, will the mossberg 500 security barrel fit on the 535 ATS?

No, the 500 and 88 barrels interchange with each other, but not with the 535.

oh yeah...crap I forgot about its 3.5 inch shells.
