Try the "Manual for Banned Firearm Accessories Store" ? Seriously, bullpup conversion stocks are prohib, no grandfathering, possession can get you a 5 year vacation complete with 3 hot meals a day and a new boyfriend.

So we can buy a bullpup but we can't convert them? Can someone explain the flawed reasoning behind this one? This is one area I haven't really explored much yet...

The people who wrote the law weren't thinking ahead.
They banned currently produced bullpup rifles by name (Steyr Aug) , and also banned conversion stocks.
But they didn't put anything in the wording about an actual ban on bullpup rifles.
So rifles invented after the ban (Tavor) were not affected by the law.

The same situation exists with shorty shotguns.
At the time; No factory was manufacturing pump shotguns with 8.5" barrels.
The lawmakers made it illegal to cut a barrel shorter than 18",
but didn't put anything in the wording about barrels that were manufactured to a shorter length.

I would simple say it wasen't that long ago you could go to a store and buy one.If you where to look at the T97 and the Maverick side by side,one being legal and the other prohibited it really makes you wonder where the logic comes from.
if you search for reasoning in the law you will end up with high blood pressure . my understanding of the law is that if you can remove the gun from the stock and it is still able to fire it is banned . the tavor does not meet that requirment . it is a bit more of the utter stupidity of the firearms act .quoting Dave Tomlinson, it does not have to make sense, it is government policy.
