These are advertised as 7 rounds (I assume 7 + 1).

I also see 8 round mags for these. Is this the maximum magazine capacity for the single stack/

Will both 7 and 8 rounders fit with no issues?

Thanks.

norinco factory mags are 7+1.
7 and 8 fit flush.
10rd mags stick out of the frame, but are totally worth it.

I use maggar, I got some at gun shows and at proline shooters in Calgary.
Marstar sells them.
A friend uses Chip Macormic, they work well.

I haven't had a single issue with the Norinco Commander mags, well over 500 rounds now. Maybe Armco does something to them in addition to the tune job the guns get? FWIW I leave my mags loaded 24/7/365...well unless I'm shooting the gun. Smooth feeding, never an issue, it's just as reliable as my revolver, which is to say 100%.

I have a couple of the marstar 8rd as well as the norc 7rds. All are charged 24/7 and so far only one of the 8rd mags has given me any problems. Otherwise, they feed pretty well. Have to pick up some 10 rd mags now :D

The problem I had with one of mine was it had stoppages on the last round every once and a while. Also it rarely ever holds the slide back after the last round.

The filing I did was to the front of the follower, because it was binding near the top and doing a nose dive. Might help you out.
Also I "knife edged" the top edge of the mag directly above the hole for the mag release. Just so it feeds in better.

My Norc mags work great. A little crunchy (lips need a polish) but work every time. I also have Chip Mac's and Wilsons. The Mac's wouldn't work very well in my old SA TRP but run like a top in my Norc. Wilsons are the benchmark though. No issues in any guns.

Also looking for some Wilson 10's and officers. Where to get em' ???
