So word on the street Max Michel is comin to ontario July 4-5 to teach a course.....it's gonna be at silverdale, what's your thoughts ??? Worth it??

Max is a great shooters, have seen him shot and also have watched his DVDs. . I hope you guys enjoy it.

Look at it as a shortcut. You can train for 5 years and not learn what you could in one weekend.

Max is a great shooter and great coach.

My only concern is number of people at such courses. If there are more then 6 people, a single coach won't be able to give attention based on individual students skill difference. But if you are a newbie and never taken course like that, then jump right on. As kanada kid said, it will be a good shortcut.

A good instructor can easily handle 12 students. And Max is a great instructor.

12 is probably your best bang for the buck. All these guys will do smaller classes but then the price per person goes up.

For this type of course 10-12 students should be easy. If you want individual attention hire a coach or pay for a private course.

Did a 2 day course with Max last year....as someone above said you will learn more in a weekend than you will in 3 years on your own...but with any course YMMV

I signed up for it a couple weeks ago. Its a friday and saturday and is $600. Go to the TDSA website to register. I didn't participate in last years course, but I watched a bit of it, and got to meet Max, hell of a nice guy, very humble - oh yeah, and a machine too!.
Considering a "normal course will run 3-400, to me this is a great value at 6.
