max trim length to short. is it a problem?

not an issue, they will grow on the next firing or two and then you can trim them to the proper length.
 
My Speer #14 manual lists the max length as 1.912" and the trim to length as 1.902" Anywhere between those numbers is the proper specs, so you're good to go at 1.905" I usually trim mine to 1.900" So long as you have enough neck to hold the bullet properly, that's the most important thing.

BTW if Timberwolfe is reading this, I'd sure like to get around TO trimming some brass one of these days ;)
