Maxus II Golden Sporting Clays

So have an A400 Xcel Sporting that has been fitted and Isis adjustable pad setup, I’m liking it! Going to offload my 686 Silver Pigeon I, want to have a backup still, what y’all think of the title shotgun, want something different, I drove a IH Scout when I was a punk lol, so it’s ingrained but I also want it to function well, receiver looks nice and trim.

I have an A400 and a Maxus II Maple. They are both excellent guns and i'd be hard pressed to choose which one I like better! Both have been flawless and digest all shells that I feed them but in the winter the Browning likes the higher velocity loads to cycle 100%.

No experience with the Maxus 2, but my Maxus Wicked Wing Bronze Edition has been flawless both hunting waterfowl, and shooting clays when it's wet out.

Can't speak to the Maxus II but I currently have a Maxus Sporting Golden Clays I just picked up. It's my third Maxus since 2012 and every one has run flawlessly. The previous owner of the one I currently own said it had less than a flat fired through it. I shot 6-100 target events at a trap shoot this past weekend with it and it ran flawlessly. I wasn't even sure if it would go bang on the first shot as I never even tested it. After that first shot I was on my way to what ended in a Class win on 200 singles over two days and a HOA 2nd place finish on 600 targets. I love how soft shooting the Maxus shotguns are. 600 rounds of 3 dram 1 1/8oz and shoulder feels like I never even pulled the trigger. Could not do that any more even with recoil absorbing stocks as the arthritis in my shoulders would flare up after a day of shooting. I even got lucky enough to take home a bit of cash and prizes!

I have a Maxus II Wicked Wing. No issues. Cycles every time. Recommended.
