maxus or a5 for a dot it all autoloarder

looking to move on from my grandfathers Ithica pump to a one man do it all autoloader thinking about the Maxus or a5 in synthetic stalker and am looking for some opinions or votes from guys/gals who have experience with these rifles as they both shoulder nicely for me.

I own both and because you said do it all I would go with the maxus . it is a softer shooting gun .both are great handling guns with great shell handling capabilities ( speed load ) .

I don't think you can go wrong with ether, there both solid made high quality shotguns. I personally own the Maxus for about 3 years now and its been solid, used it for waterfowl and turkey in all weather conditions without any problems. I know there is a slug barrel available for the Maxus not sure for the A-5 if that matters to you. Bottom line shoulder both and see which one feels the best to you.

Maxus here also since they don't make the Gold any more.

I bought a Maxus several years ago for this very purpose. Love it, works great on targets and game. I bought the 3 inch chambered one.
