To anyone who is interested I am going to be having a fun Steel shoot out at my range on May 2nd just north of Glenboro Manitoba.
My range is 900m in distance and has Steel targets ranging from 100 to 900m.
There are a few wood backed targets at the 100,300,600 and 900 meter marks to check 0 and to see group size.
I will start the shooting at 12:00 and will run it until 5:00.
We will meet at the spruce woods inn in Glenboro at 11:00 and go from there to the Range.
Any caliber up to 50BMG is accepted but there will not be any restricted AR semi type rifles allowed as this is not a registered range.
I will allow aprox 15 to 20 shooters as we can only shoot about 6 or so at a time and that way everyone can get allot of shooting in.
This is on a first come basis so if you want to shoot you had better let me know right away.
I would prefer that you let me know via email and to let me know if your bringing a friend.
Once there are 15 to 20 shooters I will let everyone know via email and on this site.
I also have pics of the range to send who ever wants them.
It will be allot of fun and if you like to shoot Steel plate as much as I do you better come on down.

Because of how close it is to the date I can't make it but would like to come out and play one day. Jeremy, is Peter your dad, as I took a course he taught years ago.

Yes Peter is my Dad.
I ran the casting business with him for 8 years.I now weld fulltime.
As for the shoot thats to bad.
But I will be holding a few more shoots this year.
Just send me an email if your wanting to come out this way and well hook up.

I would love to come as i have been dying to strech out my guns. But saddly i dont think i will have my new glass in time. could bring out the old .30-06 ruger and try that as it is the only gun i have ready to shoot since its the one one i have left not waiting for parts.


i would love to come out on another day and shoot if you set up another day like this.
