The North Peace Rod and Gun club is hosting our FIRST 3 gun of the season on MAY 9,2015. A black badge is not required for this shoot.

Match will start at 10am sharp. Shooters must be at the range and sign registration form by 9am with safety meeting to follow. (Fort St John is 1 hr behind of Alberta time).

There will be limited camping available at the range.

We are planning on 4-5 cof with a speed steel match to follow if time permits.

Shooters will require ear and eye protection, a centerfire rifle of .223 or larger, a shotgun of 20ga. or larger and a centerfire pistol with a holster that covers the trigger and will provide retention. Pistol caliber carbines are not permitted. You will also need to be able to carry extra mags/shells for each stage. Slings will not be required or permitted. Inside the waist band holsters and crossdraw holsters are also not permitted.

The round count should not exceed 100 pistol/100 rifle and 75 shotshells (bird shot) + 5 SLUGS Max. distances will be 150 yrds(rifle), pistol will be 50 yrd max. We will be running divisions which you will recieve a layout of when you register.
Match fee will be $40 per person and include a bbq lunch.

We will have two firearms that will be random draw prizes, This match will go rain or shine so be prepared. If anyone from outside of Bc. requires a match invite to get a short term att. you can let me know with your pm.

This is also the first points match of the MP3G season. Points will be awarded to the top 10 finishers in each division at this match and count toward crowning a season champion in each division.

The four matches in FSJ, the two day match in GP, and the two single day matches in PR will all be points matches.

Mighty Peace 3gun group is an affiliation of three gun clubs in the North Peace area of North East BC and North West Alberta that have joined together in our love of the sport of 3gun and have made our "outlaw" rules and divisions to suit the unique Canadian landscape.

The clubs represented are North Peace Rod and Gun (Fort St John BC), Peace Country Fish & Game Association (Peace River, AB) and Wapiti Shooters Club (Grande Prarie, AB)

we will be using a point system this year for overall winner, the point structure will be. (Points will be awarded to winners in each division)

Points are awarded as follows:
1st place - 25 points
2nd place - 18 points
3rd place - 15 points
4th place - 12 points
5th place - 10 points
6th place - 8 points
7th place - 6 points
8th place - 4 points
9th place - 2 points
10th place - 1 points
 
I prefer "privateer" to "outlaw". Sounds classier, and I'm pretty sure I have a letter of marque kicking around here somewhere. :)

had a great day, 39 shooters total and it was bright and sunny with the ground mostly dry.
