Those are very nice looking and it seems like they shoot as well as they look.
If I can find one for a reasonable price ( less than $ 800 ) you can be assured this old guy will shoot it.
The Ruger would look good beside my old Hardballer...

I just receive my 1st HG the hardballer. I understand quality control was a issue, any info and parts interchange knowledge would be appretiated.

I've had mine for over 20 years without a single issue and hundreds of rounds through it. As far as parts interchanging, I can't help you there as I haven't needed any yet. With respect to quality control. I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish, for me its been a dependable pistol...

Sorry Kevan; my comment was a joke at your expense, hence the . My hardballer is kept in my pants and responsible for two kids (that I know of )
and I certainly don't/won't stick my new(whenever the hell it gets here Murdoch!!!) SR1911 next to MY hardballer in case of accidental discharge (uh...the pistol, not the hardballer ), therefore the holster suggestion.
