May be the first SR1911 in Canada or not.

I just receive my 1st HG the hardballer. I understand quality control was a issue, any info and parts interchange knowledge would be appretiated.
 
I've had mine for over 20 years without a single issue and hundreds of rounds through it. As far as parts interchanging, I can't help you there as I haven't needed any yet. With respect to quality control. I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish, for me its been a dependable pistol...
 
I have a couple.... if only I can remember where I stashed 'em.
You know what ??...... growing old is hell when the memory starts to go.. :(

Sorry Kevan; my comment was a joke at your expense, hence the :p. My hardballer is kept in my pants and responsible for two kids (that I know of :D)
and I certainly don't/won't stick my new(whenever the hell it gets here Murdoch!!!) SR1911 next to MY hardballer in case of accidental discharge (uh...the pistol, not the hardballer :rolleyes:), therefore the holster suggestion.
