SA .30 Cal M1 Garand

I just bought this SA '45 Garand last weekend for the price of a .22 . Looks like it was rebarreled with a SA '59. All components are in excellent condition. I took it to the range today and was able to achieve groups of 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" @ 100 and even managed a 3" at 200 with factory ammo all with a standard mil. front blade. Tried out different fodder for it and it seems that Federal AE 150 BT's work the best. I will install a NM front sight. Generally I am very pleased with it.

Cats are only good to teach the blind to skeet shoot. That's a nice gun though.
