May Purchases

You must have seen her too! I really lucked out on this one, and got it from a great guy to boot. Wife was some pissed, considering I was supposed to part instead of buy:). It's my first Steyr k98, all original and matching except the safety, which was so prone to breakage it was surely replaced, it has been on there for some time. The stock and handguard are numbered internally, as well as the firing pin. Thaks for looking:)
Joe, your killing me. Let me guess, got it off the ee?

Just got my first reproduction PU sniper from Jean @ P&S Militaria

It's a 1943 Izhevsk with an original WW2 stock in near perfect condition. Scope mount matches the receiver, mag, butt plate. overall VERY happy with it! can't wait to go sight her in, (I hear that's going to be a real treat) I plan on accurizing it to the best of its ability ie: glass bed, lighten the trigger, whatever i can do

My dad has Alzheimers. I found this never been registered American Eagle Luger in his shed. Registration was a snap, (lucky it has a 120 mm barrel). It has a bit of speckling, but 99% bluing and 100% straw. All numbers match and although there is nothing on the mag it is appropriate for the gun with the wooden end cap. It appears to have been fired very little, even the feed ramp shows very little wear. The pictures don't do it justice, and apart from the speckling I would almost say it was museum quality. It's certainly one of the nicest lugers I have ever seen and I've owned a dozen or more:D

Is it one of the early ones or one of the later units built in the seventies. Doesn't really matter though, very nice pistol.

It's an American Eagle Luger. These guns were submitted to the US, for the 1911 trials where the US ultimately decided to go with the 1911 colt. That is why the American Eagle is stamped on top an it has a grip safety which was stipulated by the Americans for any gun submitted. They didn't like the small caliber and went with the .45 instead. This gun is over 100 years old.

Unless it has the US ordance stamps, and in the appropiate serial number range, it is most likley a standard commerical luger. I had a 1900 eagle, but not in as nice condition.

I don't believe it was an actual test luger, there were very few of those and it would be in far worse shape. According to the cfc it is a fairly early serial number, and although I know a bit about lugers, there are so many variations, that I would have to get the book.

Few guns I bought while overseas arrived yesterday:

Austrian-issued, Czech-reissued Steyr 1912. It's kind of rough shape and I'll definately have to replace the locking wedge, but I like the history and it's damned hard to find non-Chilean Steyr Hahns.

2nd Model Gasser Montenegrin in 11.75 x 36mm, one of the Belgian copies. This one is made by AF Counet, and has some really neat grips. Never seen anything quite like them.

Hi Guys, I'm still so new to CGN I need to be dried off. I hope this is the correct place to put up for sale a 1917 03a3 Springfield 30-06 with the Pederson device mod. (No Pederson device though). I also have a single shot Lee-Enfield .410 shotgun. From India I think. The 03a3 was headspaced 20 years ago and shot 4 times since. The Lee-enfield was never fired at least by me.

Where are the pics?

A Springfield which is adapted for the Pederson Device will bear the receiver stamp " U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Mark I". A model 1903A3 rifle will be stamped " U.S. Remington Model 03-A3" or " U.S. Smith-Corona Model 03-A3".
