Maybe a dumb question but...

I have just started with this wonderful hobby of reloading. I have a dumb question. Can you use different company dies in other companies presses? I have Lee presses and want to use hornady dies because I can't find Lee dies in the caliber I want. Do u need adapters or can they just screw in? Thank you.

Yes u can, they all standard thread pitch

They should all be 7/8-14 thread dies. There are some old dies with a wierd 5/8 thread (i think) that you would need a bushing or a different press to use, but i have never seen any of them in real life.
