Here's a picture of my 2014 muzzleloader buck I got. It was a hellish windy day...all day. I sat in my tree stand 9hrs. Mostly uneventful, couple does. Lots of cracking of branches. Just before dark things settled down and got real quiet.....except for the crunch of leaves right behind me. My heart picked up a beat or two a minute faster and I didn't move...seemed like a hour went by before I heard it again. After a few steps I could see him out of the corner of my eye...We have horns I thought. He walked out of the brush into the open...He was walking and stopping but never look at me. At about 35yards I squeezed the trigger and he went down like a sack of stones.
The 250gr. barnes bullet broke his neck and plowed into the ground a few feet from him...I dug it out of the top soil about 3" in. It opened up fully ripping two petals off.
