McCracken bullets

Have a buddy that had some in. .308” 168gr. He wants to know if someone is still making them.

I think they are long out of production. Al Murdoch used to be involved in that enterprise.
I shot thousands away out of 22 centerfires and 6mm's. Not any 30's though.
They were darn good bullets. Dave.

McCracken committed suicide after his wife dumped him. Al started making the bullets , but he has been dead 20 years or more.

They were great bullets. Have a box of .22 cal 55Gr HP on my keep it shelf.

The heyday for Mc Cracken bullets was in the 80’s.
Al Murdoch did more for rifle shooting in Alberta than anyone before or since imho.
I still have the 6x47 Rem he helped me build. Barrel work by Nobi Uno (sp?)

Yup good bullets, wore out a couple of 22-250's with them.

I have some 30 cals and some 6 mm McCraken bullets left - I Shot 100's of them 25 Years + ago ! RJ
