McMillan A-5 for Tikka T3 Tactical arrived- with pics

I posted previously about this stock being delayed here:

It has now arrived and I thought I'd share a few pics in case anyone else was on the fence or curious. It's an A5, set up for the T3 Tactical with adjustable cheek, sniper fill, factory dbm and 1 inch decel pad.

Here is the lug that McMillan beds into the stock. When I inserted the barreled action, everything locked up perfect as if they had used my rifle to make it- no play or wiggle at all.

Here is the finished product... Topped with a Trijicon 5-20x50 Accupoint.

I apologize for the pair of socks on the floor, our cat likes to steal them from the laundry basket and deliver them to various spots around the house... Don't worry they're clean!

That is one nice looking stock. I was interested in getting the T3 Tact but could find any good stocks for it except Manners, but now this changes everything.

Could you tell me where you purchased the stock from???/

Here is a couple more pics. It's a little odd that McMillan took so much material from the cheek piece where the bolt would slide back for clearance. It's not quite far back enough to permit the bolt from coming out with the cheek raised. I have two A-5s for R700 SA and the relief is very small. This just seems a little excessive... I thought about calling them but it doesn't hinder my cheek position or anything, just looks different.

I ordered it through 24hourcampfire, and have also ordered direct from McMillan. There are a couple of sponsors that can do the ordering for you- ATRS and
Northshore Barrels (Juanvaldez)- ad in the EE under parts.

I have three of these ones, does that tell you anything?

Great clear glass- I also have a Nightforce, and its not far off for clarity. The only things that might bother some are the limited vertical adjustment (50moa or so, not a big deal if you have a 20moa rail) and the reticles are somewhat thicker. I would suggest you have a look through one before buying as it may be too thick for your taste. I personally don't mind it.
 
Yeah that's one fine looking stock. How much did it set you back, may I ask?
Couldn't ask for nicer barreled action to fit into that stock either. Well done.
 
Very nice! I have the same problem that you cant remove the bolt with the check raised. (700 Long) Grrr! Other than that..... Best stock I own and I would own again even for the price. Did I mention? Dam nice rifle!!!
