I had a rail installed on the underside of my forend so that if the bi-pod was not being used I could make use of the handstop. The nut that tightens the PH bi-pod stud accepts the button release sling swivel, and I have a mil-spec Uncle Mike's QD swivel on the butt.
Weight was irrelevant for my rifle, so I got the heavy fill and with the scope, sling, and bi-pod in place it weighs 20 pounds. As a point of interest though, if your cheekpiece is not adjustable for height you might want to restrict your scope to one with a 40 mm objective if you prefer to have your cheek tight on the stock.
