Hey I'm building a custom rifle with a McMillan stock painted in their Sand Camo print. Im trying to figure out (not being able to see the colours in advance) what one of the dozens of tans/coyote colours to pick from cerakote. Iv kind of just been looking at a picture of the stock and looking at the pictures of the swatches and seeing what looks the best. I haven't seen many examples, so it be awesome if somebody has done one, and could show a pic and tell me what colour they used.
The pic is an example of the stock and the colour they cerakoted the barrel and action is Flat Dark Earth (which is too dark for me). Im looking for a sandy colour to match the sand in the stock. I think iv narrowed it down to Light Sand or Federal Standard Sabre Sand.. But iv seen different pics of the stock and depending on the lighting, if its a factory picture the FS Sabre Sand matches better but if its a picture someone has taken on their own the Light Sand looks better..
any examples of builds with cerakote Tans would be much appreciated
