Mcmillan stock for my 260

Nice looking rig. What are the specs on the stock!

mountain rifle version, 60% forest green, 30% black, 10% light grey, 1" decelerator, silver studs

not sure what it weighs, but its 7.75 lbs scoped with the FXIII 6x42

The color combo is very nice, regular fill no doubt (I don't think you can get the swirly with the Edge technology).
It should cover off much of your hunting needs very nicely, and you have the new Sako for the big/nasty stuff! (Gatehouse not included!)

yes its the standard fill, but I do have an Edge coming for my Ti 260 This custom 260 is my favorite rifle by far. I could sell them all and be happy with just this one (although that is crazy talk )

took the plunge and bedded it myself...was afraid it'd be perma bonded together, but alas, it came apart

You have the rifles I dream of TB. I have the Mountain LSS also in .260. Thinking of swapping the barrel same as your, not sure of what stock to get if I do... on the other, like to keep it light as is but the barrel does not seem too dependable after a couple shots.
Mine has the J-lock too so I'm on the lookout for a firing pin and stainless bolt shroud.

**Update**

Today I finally had the chance to put some rounds through the rifle since I restocked/bedded it.


only had time for two groups after I boresighted it and a few sighters

fired one group of 87 gr Speer hollowpoints over IMR4064, and one of 95 gr Vmax over Varget. Both were right around 1" @ 130 yards (3/4 moa)

Looks promising, I think my bedding job may of actually worked
