McMillan stocks to Canada

Have any of you tried ordering a Manners stock?

Was just looking at their site, I think that is where my business will be going.

They are very nice stocks, however they won't ship up here direct so you need to order through a Canadian Distributer which I believe is ATRS.

Manners also need to come through an importer. Someone mentioned ATRS but I know Corlanes is as well.

Any importers/ exporters with their paperwork from DHS (or similar governing bodies) all ready to bring any of these stocks into Canada?

I tried ordering a stock directly from Manners last year and was told by them I had to go through ATRS.

I have recently ordered my McMillan stocks from Darcy at Darc custom rifles. I can provide his info to any interested parties privately within the rules of the site. You will be a happy camper that you went that path

Taxes should only be on import cost and shipping. Tax paid at border is an input tax credit for business, which is recovered. Don't blame McMillan, it's the American Government!

Yep I could talk to them but by Jan 2020 we might be able to just order direct from McMillan again.......

I was waiting to see if anyone else heard the same thing.

We deal with McMillan regularly and there has been no mention of the US Government changing export regulations.

I’m just going by what a sales rep at McMillan told me on the phone a couple of weeks ago.

Sales rep stated they heard by the end of this year stocks may be shipped direct to Canadian customers again. Which I think meant no export license required.

As previously mentioned, we deal regularly(yesterday as last time) with McMillan and have not heard ever, that there will be changes from them having to obtain export licenses.

Is this old news? AT orders all the time for customers, takes about 3-4 months
