Mcmillan Stocks

If you decide to go ahead with this and McMillan ships the stock to you, you will have to pay Canada Customs a few dollars... probably about $70.

McMillan shipped two stocks to me that a customer had fully paid for and it cost me $147 to get them...

There is no need for me to chime in here but I will. This has always been between me and a certain person. There has been no misrepresentation of any kind on this order or any other. Do you think a business would last if someone posed as someone they were not? This is my living, I wouldn't risk that and neither would you guys.
Before I order any stock for anyone, the customer knows exactly what the process is. Ordering through me saves the customer some money over McMillan's retail. All my customers know at time of order, on special orders you receive the stock or stocks by a direct shipment from McMillan when complete. That saves me money that I pass onto the customer. When the stocks are complete, I contact the customer that a bill is due and when paid the stock will be shipped by McMillan. Again, everyone knows this before they order and they can choose to do so or not. Order any merchandise from the US and you will see that there is nothing shipped until paid. Is this abnormal? I think this is the norm.
I will not fight with anyone on here. Something started a long time ago and I have decided that I just don't want to deal with certain people that turn a simple understood business transaction into WW3 everytime the bill comes due. It's as simple as that. I've not posed as anyone I am not and enough of you fellas have been customers and know that I've done you right. Please PM any other questions as I think this was brought out to try and hurt me but I don't need to justify myself on here for a few people that like to fight on these forums. Thanks to all you guys that have supported me all these years.

John,

You're an awesome guy to deal with - having personally met you along with my wife - you're an all around super guy.

I've had no problem recommending you to anyone - 100% handsdown!

Don't sweat it man!

All the best, Carl

agreed...drop shipping is not a new process, and wallbanger is not new at this either. sounds like a case of someone spending their allowance before they have it saved up!!

Yeah..my allowance..you must be the guy that posted that crap on 6mmbr..lol

If you guys like drop shipping thats great..I don't and he knew that..so to me, after what he did..its theft and will be dealing with it as that.

Thats right ..your an angel..

How many companies do people pay that don't have the product??? I don't give a #### about drop shipping..

If I was convinced that this was a 100% legal.. I would have no problem with it.
I order from the States weekly..but not "gun related" parts or accessories..just too much money on the line.

Same process I've used with 24hrcampfire, with the same stocks. I've yet to have an issue at the border, after 6 or 7 stocks.

What the OP is wanting is for McMillan to send to you , then you send to him. Why not appease a customer, then tack on the tax and shipping costs to him? Not that big of a deal really.

Sometimes, they slide through with no tax. I've had 3 stocks and a set of binos that didn't cost me anything at the PO.

I'm surprised this hasn't been locked yet.... Quote,

Why???..it's the truth..

If you have a company in Canada or you are living in Canada making a profit or whatever is going on..your job is to import the product..and have the proper paperwork..so you can redistribute...ie..taxes,,duty,,shipping.
Then pay the government..taxes..this is how it works...
Doing it any other way is not how to run a business..

In regards to the other methods..phoning Mcmillan,,EEs on other forums..24hr Campfire.etc,,I know they are there and can do the same thing..come on guys its not the point I am making.
I wanted this individual to bring the stock in for me so I could buy it..is that so hard to understand ?????
This is not my first transaction...

You describe one business model.
Drop shipping is another.
It is not illegal, unethical or improper.
Doesn't suit you, fine, that is your opinion. Obviously there are those who disagree.
If you don't get your stock, at the agreed upon delivered price, that is a problem.
This thread should be locked. You've had your say, the business has responded, that's it.

It seems to me if you pay the invoice from him you will be buying it...

When the stocks are complete, I contact the customer that a bill is due and when paid the stock will be shipped by McMillan.

I don't believe it will be coming to you until you pay the balance due.

What is hard to understand is when the 'seller' states what he has stated... why argue about it... the terms seem quite clear... the stock can be in your hands very shortly. It's up to you.

it`s simple like a day: you don`t like process - you don`t buy form the guy...
why crying and screaming , - just go and order from McMillan directly.....

if a guy knows how to get McMillan stocks in Canada and it`s his business - why it`s illegal???? he pays his taxes and dues....

you don`t like it - just go and find another dealer and buy goods from him.....

be a man and be responsible for your dids.....

after this thread, you still bealive he will deal with you??????

I'm missing the point. Wallbanger acts as an intermediary between the guy here that wants a stock and McMillan. They ship it to you in what everyone seems to say is a legal manner. What's the issue? That Wallbanger hasn't got the stocks in his garage and doesn't ship them himself?

I have to say that ordering an item like a pricey stock from the US makes me a bit nervous, because I'm sure that I would be the guy that gets hung up in some sort of goat rodeo. But so many guys here have done it and say they have experienced no problems, maybe it's not so scary.

Bottom line - if you want a stock that you can feel 100% confident was imported on the up-and-up, go to ATRS and order from them. If you're willing to order from one of the guys that orders the stock for you and has it shipped from the US, then go ahead. But just order the stock and STFU - before the other dealers on the board decide that you're acting like a horse's backside and refuse to deal with you too!
