I got my M40A1 stock through Alberta Tactical Rifles. It was a custom order and took 6 months. Check with them.

If the quality of work I received is indicative of paying top dollar, then rest assured, I will not order from McM directly (or indirectly) again.

Jerry at Mystique Precision bedded my rifle. He can vouch that my barrel did not line-up with the barrel channel (and it's still crooked), and IIRC, he had to grind a bit of material so it would free-float.

Those are the everyday prices, not sale prices. Rick jokes once in a while by calling them "sale" prices.

I would put in a call to McM. If there is a problem with the stock or inletting, they will correct the problem as their warranty is on par with Leupold/RCBS.

Post a pic of how crooked the barrel channel is, I'm interested to see it....and how is removing some stock material to float the barrel a big deal? How long does that take...43 seconds?
