Anyone have a CDN source for these stocks, I'm looking for an A2 or A3, I've sent several PMs and emails to no avail, I'm not looking for a huge conversation on these from dealers, just a yes I have it, this is how long and this is how much. Also looking for barrel recommendations, I'd like to do all my shopping in Canada for a 24" .308 barrel.

Did you try Joe from ###?? His service is first rate. I'm sure he can hook you up with a price list. The problem with a stock like the Mcmillan is that there are so many parts that go on. The base price is simply just a piece of synthetic material with usually very little inletting for your action and no butt pad or anything. The $$$ only climb for what you actually want to bolt your action into. It's best to have a concrete idea as to specifically what you want. ie. anshutz butt pad, 3 spacer system, inletted for ### action, adjustable cheek rest. Try also Robertson Composites. Ian robertson makes some very nice stocks. He's located in ottawa. For his tactical version I was quoted $850.00 plus taxes, which is cheaper than any McMillan I was quoted. As for barrels, pick one from Rob McLennan, Ron Smith, Ted Gaillard....all about the same price. All canadian makers.

Have to concur with Ian as the best Canadian stockmaker. Every one wants a McMillan, including the US Marines. Can you guess who gets priority?

Again a certain gunsmith from Calgary can hook you up...He's a McMillan distributor..
 McMillan does not have a Distrbutor network for sales of there stocks in North America . He gets Dealer Pricing on stocks only from McM which any gunsmith or gunshop can do as well
Ray Deal with Ed Begg I understand that he is bringing in McM stocks

Yes you are correct a Distributor has an exclusive territory given by a manufacturer that he can sell and then only to dealers and often the products are discounted to allow the dealer to sell the product for the manufactures list price or slightly higher to recover additional costs, but there are more levels in the supply chain than those 2 at the end of that chain
