MCS Stock Adaptor

Description

The S&J Hardware MCS Stock Adaptor is the female half of the connection. It attaches to your stock, which gives your MCS setup a solid, repeatable lock-up. It’s machined from 4140 steel and made in Canada.

Features

  • Female side of the adaptor, which attaches to the stock
  • Machined from 4140 steel for strength and durability
  • Made in Canada
What’s Included

  • 1 × MCS Stock Adaptor
Installation

We recommend having a gunsmith install it. A qualified gunsmith will make sure the fit, function and lock-up are correct for your firearm.
This is not a drop in item, factory 870 stock will have to be modified to be able to accept this stock adaptor

So, could use this adapter to connect a a Magpul SGA stock to my 870. I take it the Magpul SGA would need to be modified to make it work with this adapter.

The short answer is no.
the long answer is the sga requiers exstensive rework to be able to use the MSC adaptor, they requiers machining and another insert to hold the SGA togeather, as its a mutipart stock, not a one peice molded stock.
Whil we have done it in the past, i dont think we will be doing any more, it was way to much work.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I recently switched my Magpul SGA stock on my 870 to an MCS M4 stock. I like the grip angle and the quick adjustable stock (as well as it is made in Canada), but I just love how the Magpul SGA stock looks on an 870. I was hoping that it would be easy to do, but alas it is not. With what you describe it also sounds like it would cost me well above what I would be wanting to pay to make that work.
