MCS-T4 Sako Quad 22 Trainer

That is a pretty sweet rifle. I have been following that thread and the project what I am hoping to do is to get the 40x stiller clone in 22lr which is supposed to be the same as the rem 700 short action and put that together with Roberston composite H&H stock. I could train with the 22 and then when I had a match swap out the action and barrel from the 40x to the 700 without any problems. Still waiting for Stiller to get his 40x clones up and running.

I used to do alot of training with rimfires but ammo has skyrocketed in price. And availability is not what it could be.

I have now switched to a 223 as it is CHEAPER and simulates shooting my 6.5match rifles better.

I still shot some rimfire but mostly for plinking and busting pop cans....
