MDT Elite Hex installation

Hey folks,

I just received an Elite Hex brake for my Model 10 GRS. In the packaging was the brake and its jam nut. I was expecting a crush washer as most MDT videos state one is supplied for factory threaded muzzles. The videos also recommend to use the jam nut with custom threads.

Never having installed a brake, should i order a pack of crush washers, or would you think using the supplied nut to be sufficient? There were no instructions in the box.

The Elite brakes don't need a crush washer. The videos are for their older Tactical brake, which I don't believe they sell anymore.

No crush washer needed. Screw on the brake, get it level, tighten the nut. Done

No crush washers needed, just thread the brake on, level it, and tighten up the lock nut. I will be shooting the new install video tomorrow so it should be up soon!
