Lately I have moved away from my Spuhr mount for eye relief reasons (short rifle stock, it pained my at that moment as i'm a spuhr fan), I have replaced it with ARC M10 rings.
And also decided to get an el cheapo scope for my 308 that was sitting unscoped in the safe since it lost it's razor scope to my new 6.5, and also wanted to try MDT Elite rings.
So I now had experience installing and using both products.
I love MDT, i'm a huge fan and carry many of their products at the range.
But the rings, as much as I want to like them, I can't see the same quality that ARC put in theirs.
Sure there are a few bucks difference and for some 60$ may make a difference, at my point 60-70$ is a moot point once you already sank in multiple thousands in a precision rifle.

Out of the box, the ARC we're flawless, nothing to report.
When in scope installation mode, the bottom ring half really holds the scope in place, even though the top bolt is not in yet.
Which makes scope leveling a breeze, as once you got her leveled she won't move while torquing the top screw.
They are also light and have a small footprint at the right places (on the top for better turret reading).
The MDT I was much less impressed unfortunately, as I wanted to like them.
Out of the box one ring had dirty threads filled with metal filings, had to blow air and thread was rough I went very slightly with an undersized tap to get filings out.
On my 3 rifles, my starett level on the rail is right on, while the scope level intergrated in the ring is off. With my Spuhr I had tested this and Spuhr's bubble level was spot on.
Not to mention the level is small and in a hard spot to read. If you think a Spuhr level is not ideal this is much worse, may as well not have one at that point.
Edit : I also feel like it's important to mention that the MDT required no lapping whatsoever, and when I removed scope from them they left no ring marks at all.
Really hate to state this sort of opinion as I only had positive experiences with MDT and do not wish to rain on their parade at all.
But as a consumer, know that if you are pondering between ARC M10 and MDT Elite rings, the choice is obvious do not stop for a second to think about it.
I will sell my MDT's and replace them with ARC's soon, and my other M24 style rifle will also have it's ATRS (absolutely nothing wrong with them btw) replaced by ARC's so much I am growing fond of this ring system.
