MDT ESS chassis break in?

My guess would be to somehow wedge the recoil lug into the chassis, apply epoxy, then install action?

Tricky when the lug is more a part of the stock then the action. I would glue the lug in, then bed over the lug with release agent on the action. Very permanent, though.

I don't think it would be that tricky.......
One could use a wedge shaped piece of wood (shaved down Popsicle stick?) to wedge it against the face of the slot (without the action in place), then just fill the gaps with the epoxy?

My Tikka with ESS chassis shoots about the same as it did with the factory stock.....so it doesn't seem like bedding is as much of an issue with the T3 in the ESS stocks.
Although MDT did have to replace my original chassis base because it was machined out of spec, and the action sat on a downward angle towards the fore end. It worked, but if I ever wanted to put a larger diameter barrel on it, the barrel would end up touching the sling stud nut (I had to grind it down so the barrel wouldn't touch as is)
