MDT HS3 build.

Too bad I didn't see this earlier. I already grabbed a PRS off the EE and it's on the way. I'm still looking for the HS3 chassis and a pistol grip though.

Which brings me to a question, I as thinking of throwing on an A2 grip, but I've been looking around a lot and it seems like a more vertical angle is better for shooting prone like the angle on the Magpul MOE-K or BCM gunfighter. Anyone have any feedback on a pistol grip for precision rifle?
 
BCM is the one I liked the most on my TAC 21 but the Ergo grip on my Cadex is very nice as well, but depending on how big your paws are it might not work for ya.

One limiting factor is the HS3 can't take the beavertail on the grip, unless you cut it off i guess. The reason I was thinking BCM gunfighter mod0 is it comes ready to go and has a good angle. The Ergo looks like it's just as good. If I can find either one next week and I like it I'll pick one up

I have small hands, but prefer medium grips. Probably just because I'm used to it.

I'll have my PRS and hopefully grip soon. I'll be putting on my harris bipod as well. The only thing left will be to buy the actual HS3 chassis. I've just been waiting to see what the christmas damage is.
 
I just ordered a HS3 chassis in FDE from MDT. Its free 2 day shipping.

Thought I'd mention that when I called, he saw I have a military mailing address. He told me they give 10% off to the CF. Big thumbs up to MDT.

My Christmas present from MDT

So my HS3 Chassis arrived just in time for christmas. I picked up a Magpul MIAD grip in Edmonton at Wild West Shooting center (my wife wanted to go to the West Edmonton Mall) It was the only grip they had with a flat top, I will probably buy a thicker one later since it only has the flat top in the small configuration.

For some reason a few reviews have stated the outside covers to be rubber, they are polymer.

It only took me a few minutes to swap out the stocks, it was a perfect drop in. And with the Magpul PRS I already notice a huge improvement in ergonomics on the whole system.

I just picked up some Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr, But I won't be able to test this setup till after Feb.
