Doesn't it improve accuracy? While I'm dubious of manufacturer claims i see one american rimfire that had no change in accuracy. Others are reporting improved accuracy. And there is always ergonomics and balance at play and in case od wooden anshutz the desire to play at all weather conditions as well.
Accuracy is too me.Why would you spend $500- $600 for cosmetics?

He already told you. If you don't like it don't get it. And again. Where are you getting that there is no benefit in accuracy? I have seen one example stated that had no improvements. Others have reported improvements.
Correct. Function is as important if not more important as looks are to me.
My 1712 in the LSS is easier/preferable for me to shot with. I simply like shooting it better now, nothing to more too it really. And in the first few weeks of it being in the LSS I do believe I have noticed a slight increase in accuracy. I think with it being easier for me to shoot and being a little more rigid I'm getting slightly better results.
